Some of you know that I used to go on a lot of sourcing trips. Sourcing trips are basically when you leaving town for a certain amount of days to look for inventory. This is a great way to explore and find some fresh inventory for your side hustles.
I’m sure many of you watch certain YouTube videos where people go on trips and it looks really fun. The truth of the matter is while it might be fun it’s a lot of work. Imagine having to pack and unpack all your inventory every time you check into a new hotel.
Here’s a pro tip for you guys doing FBA from the road. If you want to go on a sourcing trip but don’t have a printer or a printer small to enough to haul around you don’t necessarily need to buy one. Instead, get a thumb drive and after you process your inventory save the FBA labels as a PDF file.
Depending on the type of hotel you’re staying at ask if they have an office space with a printer. If not ask the front desk clerk if they can print the labels for you if you provide the labels. If not then find a local office service store like FedEx Kinkos or UPS Store and print the labels there. It might be inconvenient but it does provide extra storage in your car.
